Stays in Malá Fatra
5 stays · from €36 per night · no service fee
Malá Fatra is a national park of sharp ridges and gorges. The main bases are Terchová, birthplace of the outlaw Juraj Jánošík, and the Vrátna valley, where a gondola climbs to the saddle below Veľký Kriváň and there is skiing in winter.
The best-known route is Jánošíkove diery with its ladders and footbridges; stronger hikers continue to Veľký Rozsutec. Zázrivá and the hamlet of Štefanová are quieter places to stay.
